We announce on our Facebook Page when pre-orders are open. They are usually in batches, but we also accept special orders from time to time, so don't hesitate to send us a message!

Tokyo Nook is a shop that started as a passion project by two Japan-loving people, Luke and Aura. They met in a Philippines-Japan culture club in college and are now professionals in their own specialties.

Luke is based in Tokyo. She is in-charge of confirming orders, checking payments, procuring items, and making sure that all items are shipped to the Philippines safely and in a timely manner.

Aura is based in Quezon City. She is in-charge of organizing all items that arrive in the Philippines, wrapping orders carefully one-by-one, picking your freebies ♡, and shipping out all orders safely.

We will only consider your order accepted once you have paid the downpayment required. However, if the item is on-hand, you will be required to pay 100%. (see more in payment)

Cancellations are not allowed. Otherwise, your payment will NOT be returned and going forward, you will be required to pay 100% in order to join future pre-order batches.

During pre-orders, some products may run out of stock. In this case, we will notify you of alternatives (if any), then you may choose to change or cancel your order. If cancelled, your downpayment will be refunded in full.

Item Price Computation

For items under 14,000 JPY:

(Item Price in JPY incl. 10% tax) * (0.80) = Item Price in PHP, rounded UP to the nearest 100

For items above 14,000 JPY:

(Item Price in JPY incl. 10% tax) * (0.70) = Item Price in PHP, rounded UP to the nearest 100

ex. 1,540 JPY (incl. 10% tax) * (0.80) = 1,232 → 1,300 PHP

ex. 2,965 JPY (incl. 10% tax) * (0.80) = 2,372 → 2,400 PHP

ex. 14,300 JPY (incl. 10% tax) * (0.70) = 10,010 → 10,100 PHP

→ Please note that for non-Hobonichi orders, you will need to pay for Japan Local SF* (if applicable).

Local Shipping Fee

150 PHP for central Metro Manila

300 PHP for outside Metro Manila

→ If you would like to get your orders quickly, you can also opt for rider pick-up services. In this case, you will need to book the ride, so we will not ask you to pay for SF.

International Shipping Fee

If your order will be shipped to anywhere outside the Philippines, we will ship your order directly from Japan via EMS* (with tracking) or Airmail (without tracking). You will be required to pay for the applicable SF.

→ Since International SF (EMS and Airmail) relies heavily on the size and weight of the package, we will give you an estimate of the SF during pre-order, but we will send you the actual SF required once we have the item on-hand.

Please take note of the payment deadlines. Failure to pay on time will mean that you have cancelled your order, and as stated above, any payment that has been made will NOT be returned.

Once payment has been made, please send us a screenshot of your deposit.

Payment Terms for PRE-ORDERS

1st Payment: Down Payment of at least 50% of Total Cost

2nd Payment: Balance (if any)

→ Once the items arrive in the Philippines, we will notify you to pay the rest of your balance. 2nd Payment will also have a deadline.

Payment Terms for ON-HAND ITEMS

100% Payment is required. (including SF)

We are not liable for any loss or damage incurred during shipment but we will do our best to avoid that situation by packing your orders securely.
